AttackBridge Prerequisite Demo

1. Navigate to https://www.vmware.com/products/workstation-player/...

2. Download the VMWare setup wizard by selecting, "Download Now".

3. Once the setup wizard has been installed, Open the .exe file to begin downloading VMWare.

4. Follow the steps provided by the setup wizard to finish installation.

5. Navigate to https://ubuntu.com/download/desktop

6. Scroll down and download the latest release of Ubuntu Desktop.

7. Wait for the file to finish downloading before continuing

8. Open up your installation of VMWare.

10. You can leave the "Typical" bubble marked. Continue by clicking next.

11. Select "Browse" and select your Ubuntu iso file you downloaded.

13. Name your Virtual Machine and give it a password. Once finished select "Next".

14. Name your Virtual Machine and select the location you wish to have it on your PC. Once finished, click "Next".

15. Important. To ensure the AttackBridge can install correctly, you must raise the "Maximum disk size" to 30 Giga Bytes. Anything lower may result in an installation failure.

16. Once raised, click on "Next"

17. Click "Customize Hardware".

18. Important. You should raise your Memory for this Virtual Machine to at least 8 GB. Anything lower may result in lower AttackBridge preformance.

19. Also, change the "Network connection" to "Bridged". Once you've done that, exit this screen by selecting "Close".

20. Now that everything has been configured properly, Select "Finish" to power on the VM.

21. Once Ubuntu has booted, select your system language and keyboard layout.

22. Select "Install third party software".

23. Once selected, click "Continue".

24. Erase disk and install Ubuntu can be left default. When ready to install, click "Install Now".

25. Confirm by selecting "Continue".

26. Follow through the remaining steps, you can customize these however you like.

27. Once done, wait for Ubuntu to finish installing.

28. Once Ubuntu has finished installing, select, "Restart Now".

29. Once Ubuntu has booted, select the FireFox web browser.

30. Navigate to https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/ubuntu/

31. Scroll down and copy Step 1 of the "Install using the apt repository".

32. Open a terminal and paste Step 1 into it and press enter.

33. Copy Step 2.

34. Paste Step 2 into the terminal and press enter.

35. Confirm the download by typing Y and pressing enter.

36. Once docker has finished downloading, to verify that the install worked properly, copy Step 3.

37. Paste Step 3 and press enter. If everything downloaded properly, you should have a result as shown on screen.

38. Now finally type "sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get upgrade -y" into the terminal and press enter.

39. Now that the system has been updated and docker is installed, it is ready for your AttackBridge script. Simply paste your script into the terminal once you're ready.
